1. Who operates this site and what these terms cover
The public website is presented by Public Safety Technologies LLC (“Subpoenas.net,” “we,” or “our”). By using the public site, you agree to use it lawfully and in accordance with these terms. If you access the separate restricted workspace, your organization's authorization and any applicable service agreement also govern that access. These website terms alone do not grant a workspace account or any right to use a production service.
2. Product descriptions and examples
Website interface previews, names, request numbers, counts, documents, and timestamps are illustrative. They are not customer transactions, proof of deployment, or a promise that a feature is currently available. We may change or discontinue website content and planned features.
The public contact form sends inquiries to our business inbox when submitted. Submitting an inquiry does not create a service agreement or guarantee a response by a particular time.
3. No legal advice or guaranteed service outcome
Subpoenas.net provides technology information, not legal advice. This site does not issue a subpoena, determine its validity, determine whether electronic delivery is permitted, establish legal identity, or decide whether service requirements have been met. Prosecutorial and other legal decisions remain with the authorized people responsible for them.
Requirements vary by jurisdiction, court, document type, agreement, and facts. You and your counsel or organization must determine the applicable requirements, obtain necessary approvals, and use an appropriate method for each matter. Do not rely on a marketing illustration as proof of legal sufficiency.
4. Authorized workspace access
The portal is for people whose organization has authorized an account. Keep credentials and emailed verification codes confidential, use only your own account, and report suspected unauthorized access to your organization's administrator. Access to one office, role, or request does not authorize access to another. We may restrict access when needed to protect the service, comply with law, or respect a customer's authorization decisions.
5. Acceptable use
Do not use the site to attempt unauthorized access, interfere with its operation, introduce malicious code, test security without permission, misrepresent your identity or authority, or send sensitive case information through the public contact form. Do not use the site to harass recipients or to bypass a required legal process. Normal, authorized browsing and use of an account under its assigned permissions are permitted.
6. Content and marks
Subpoenas.net website text, design, graphics, and wordmark belong to their respective owners and are provided for viewing and evaluation. You may link to public pages and share brief, attributed descriptions of the service. You may not present the site, its marks, or illustrative records as your own, or imply endorsement or legal approval without permission.
7. Availability and disclaimers
The public site is provided for general information and may be unavailable or change without notice. While we aim for accurate information, product descriptions may not reflect every current limitation or deployment configuration. To the extent permitted by applicable law, we do not make a warranty that the site is uninterrupted, error-free, fit for a particular legal matter, or a substitute for professional advice. No provision here limits a right or obligation that cannot lawfully be limited.
Any production service levels, fees, data handling obligations, warranties, and allocation of risk must be addressed in a separate written agreement. These public website terms do not set a liability cap or override that agreement.
8. Governing law
Subject to any mandatory law and any applicable customer agreement, these public website terms are governed by the laws of Florida, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
9. Contact and changes
Questions about these website terms may be sent to privacy@subpoenas.net. Please do not send case files, identification images, passwords, or verification codes by ordinary email.
We may revise these terms as the website changes. The date above will identify the posted version. Material changes should be communicated as appropriate; continued use after a revision may be subject to the revised terms where permitted by law.
