1. Scope and operator
“Subpoenas.net,” “we,” and “our” refer to Public Safety Technologies LLC. This notice covers visits to the public site and use of the restricted workspace where an organization has authorized an account. A government agency or other customer may also have its own records obligations and privacy notices for information it enters into the workspace.
2. Information we handle
Public website
The public pages do not use advertising trackers or analytics scripts in the current build. A server or hosting provider may process ordinary technical request data, such as IP address, browser information, requested page, and request time, to serve and protect the site.
When you submit the contact form, we receive your name, work email, optional phone number, agency or office, organization type, inquiry type, and message. Please do not enter subpoena details, identification images, or other sensitive matter information there.
Restricted workspace
For an authorized account, the workspace may hold your name, email address, organization or office assignments, permissions, a password hash, and sign-in challenge records. It also handles the requests, documents, attachments, decisions, and audit events entered or generated by authorized users. The exact case information depends on what an organization chooses to enter.
Account setup, password reset, and sign-in verification use email.
3. How information is used
We use account and technical information to provide the site and workspace, authenticate users, enforce access rules, send requested account emails, protect against abuse, maintain a record of relevant actions, troubleshoot, and meet applicable operational or legal obligations. We use public inquiry details to respond to pricing, demo, and other contact requests. Authorized customer users use case information for their own permitted workflows and decisions. Subpoenas.net does not make legal decisions for them.
4. When information is shared
Access to restricted workspace information is intended for authorized users with appropriate roles and assignments. We use SendGrid to send account setup, reset, and verification emails and to deliver public inquiries to our business inbox. SendGrid receives the addresses and message content needed for delivery. Hosting, security, and support providers may process information when configured for an actual deployment. Information may also be disclosed when required by law or to protect the service and its users.
The current public site has no advertising or data-sale feature. This notice does not claim that a future product or deployment will use the same providers or data flows; those would need an updated notice and applicable agreements.
6. Retention and security
Setup links and emailed sign-in codes are designed to expire after 10 minutes and be single use. Expiration of a code does not by itself delete related account or audit records. Casework retention depends on the customer, applicable records requirements, and an approved deployment policy. A general production retention schedule has not yet been published for this developing service; live use requires that policy to be established. Public inquiries may remain in our business mailbox until deleted under an applicable retention practice or legal obligation.
The workspace is designed with access controls, data protection, and audit records. No online system can guarantee absolute security. Specific hosting, backup, and incident procedures must be validated for each production deployment.
7. Your choices and requests
You can choose not to submit the public contact form. Authorized users can seek account corrections or access changes through their organization's administrator. Depending on applicable law and records obligations, people may have rights to request access to, correction of, or deletion of information. Government case and public-records requirements may limit a request. We will review a properly directed request under the law and the relevant customer agreement.
This professional site and workspace are not directed to children.
8. Contact and changes
For privacy questions or requests, email privacy@subpoenas.net. Please do not email case files, ID images, passwords, or verification codes.
We may update this notice as the product and actual data practices change. The date above will change when a revised notice is posted. Material changes to collection or use should be communicated before the new practice begins where required.
